Spring Events for Everyone, now that the weather is finally beginning to let up (if only a little), it’s time to stretch our legs and shake off those winter blues. Whether you’re in the mood for music, education, charity, or just want to get out and enjoy the outdoors with your children or grandchildren, Michigan has plenty to offer. Fool Moon
This incredible April Fools’ Day celebration is sure to bring out the merriment of the community. Celebrating 10 years of “foolishness,” this moonlit festival is set to light up the night with a procession of hand-made illuminated sculptures that you won’t want to miss.
There will be music, dancing, food, drinks, and more. Come out to Downtown Ann Arbor on Friday, April 1st and enjoy this wacky celebration!

Mackinaw Raptor Fest
Bring the entire family to this free educational and eye-opening program centered on Michigan’s birds of prey.
Attendees will get rare up-close observations of hawks and owls, featuring educational information from keynote speaker, Dr. William Bowerman. Camp Daggett on Walloon Lake hosts this free event Saturday, April 2nd.

Comedy 4 Cancer
Enjoy a wonderful night of laughter while donating to an incredible cause. Comedy 4 Cancer is a live event featuring four hilarious comedians. It will be dedicated to the memory of a young girl named Stephanie Marshall, who passed away last April after battling Anaplastic Astrocytoma, an inoperable brain tumor.
This debut event will feature stand-up performances by Norm Stulz, Kate Brindle, Steve Lind, and Tonya Murray. 100% of the proceeds and donations will go to families affected by childhood cancer.
Tickets start at $12 and may be purchased at Eventbrite.com. Honor Stephanie’s legacy on Saturday, April 16at the Warren Community Center Auditorium.

Reptile and Exotic Animal Expo
Southwest Michigan’s largest reptile and exotic animal expo are here! This expo is the way to go if you’re looking to buy or sell reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals.
Admission fees cost under $20 for families. What a perfect way to spend an afternoon looking at these amazing creatures, buy tiktok followers whether you’re in the market to take one home or not.
Catch this expo in Grand Rapids on the first Saturday of the month, and in Kalamazoo on the third Saturday of the month.
